You will need to manually configure and install the driver per the instructions in the IEGD 8.0 User's Guide or from your OEM.
IEGD supports the embedded Intel® Architecture roadmap, including the Intel® 852GM, 852GME, 855GME, 910GMLE, 915GV, 915GME, 945G, 945GME, Q965, GME965, and Q35 (no OGL) chipsets.
This release is a special Linux RPM release for systems that support RPM. Please this RPM will only copy the appropriate files to your Linux system. You will still need to configure and install the driver per the IEGD User¡¯s Guide or specific instructions from your OEM. This release was made specifically for special use with Novell Linux Point of Service* 9 SSP3 (NLPOS 9 SSP3) on certain OEM platforms, however it can be used to copy the IEGD drivers on any Linux that supports RPM.
This package contains release 7.0 IEGD Linux drivers only.
